Why do I need an agreement for commission? A Commission Agreement is used to record an agreement between two parties where one person introduces or refers a potential customer to another person, who will be delivering goods or services, in exchange for a lead or introductory commission. A contract for the introductory commission provides for the payment of the referral commission that is earned from the once-off introduction or lead. A written contract assists in setting out the terms of your collaboration and relationship, including intellectual property, confidentiality, and financial arrangements.
