Summary This Indemnity Form addresses the situation where a person transports someone else. An indemnity strives to protect the transport provider should something unexpected happen, such as property going missing or someone being injured whilst being transported, whether or not as a result of an accident, and any losses suffered as a result of any delays or breakdown.
Who should use an Indemnity Form? It is suggested that anyone who offers someone else transportation services, whether once-off or on an ongoing basis, obtains an indemnity from all persons being transported. An indemnity or disclaimer undertaking guards against claims in the event of loss or damage to property, any delays or breakdown, or the unexpected worst-case scenario of injury or death to a person whilst being transported.
