Summary An estate agent acting on behalf of a property owner may use a template Rental Contract when leasing a residential property to a tenant. This Residential Lease Agreement provides for the estate agent’s commission payments.
Note: make sure that you obtain the lessee’s details, and conduct checks (including reference checks, credit checks, background checks) before finalising the Lease Agreement. The Tenant Application Form may be used for this purpose.
