MOI – LONG STANDARD FORM
For Profit Companies
The Companies Act 2008 was implemented by the Department of Trade and Industry on 1 May 2011. In terms of this Act, all pre-existing companies were given a two year grace period (ie. until 1 May 2013) within which to lodge their new MOI. All new companies are required to be formed with the appropriate Memorandum of Incorporation.
The Memorandum of Incorporation – Long Standard Form for Profit Companies comprises Form CoR 15.1B, issued in terms of section 13 of the Companies Act 2008. The MOI may be used with the incorporation of a profit company. Note: specialist assistance is strongly recommended with the completion and lodging of your MOI.
